How to activate

1. Before your flight: Connect to Wi-Fi, scan the QR code from your order email, follow phone prompts
2. Test it: Turn off Wi-Fi and confirm mobile data works while you’re still at home
3. On landing: Your eSIM connects automatically. If not: Settings → Cellular → Data Roaming ON

Important

This is a data-only eSIM. It does not include a phone number. Keep your physical SIM inserted for calls and SMS (2FA codes, WhatsApp verification). Use WhatsApp, FaceTime, or other VoIP apps for calls over data.

Coverage

Operates on the China Unicom network in China. Coverage is strongest in urban and tourist areas. Speeds may vary in remote or rural regions. 4G/LTE in most cities; 3G in remote areas.
